Happy new year..
Cheers to the new decade
For those with resolutions (e.g fitfam), how’s it coming along (looks for trouble🤣 and runs away🏃♀️)
On to our article. Have a great read
This is the story of a man
trapped in a boy’s body (as unreal as this sounds, it’s real).
I was astonished when I saw a boy of 10 years walk into the clinic (for people above the age of 18 years). What took my breath away was when he said he was in his 30’s.
This was a man who happened to be like everyother man, except that in some way did not develop the way he should have. All of these were as a result of some dysfunction of his endocrine system particularly his hypothalamus
He did not have the deep voice, moustache, broad shoulders etc that a fully grown man should. This not only affected his physical health, but his mental health (and I wonder, probably his spiritual health as well), as he was still in secondary school then.
He kept failing classes and remained stuck in a class for years till he got promoted most likely out of pity..He had no job, babe, money, children and mature frineds. He was totally dependent on his Mum.
Now imagine living that kinda life. Lol. Quite sure no one would wish for that. I guess no one would trade their current life for such.
Bringing that to the biblical aspect, some of us are like the “little human“, but in the spiritual sense.
As Believers, we are to grow, not on milk but on spiritual meat. Some of us wait until we are told to do things. Totally dependent on our Pastors, Mentors…etc and wouldn’t breath if they didn’t tell us to.
We are to totally depend on God and His word. His word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. To show us how to live.
Being a Believer for let’s say 20 years and acting like one who’s 2 years in the faith is wrong. Very wrong.
As a Believer, you ought to evolve and if you feel you’re not, I suggest you take it to God and allow Him mould you as He wants you to be.
This year, make a conscious decision to GROW. Don’t just watch the year run out.
Have a fabulous year ahead. Keep evolving at the pace of the Master and never kick Him out of your growth.
