A short reminder to always be present, never worrying as that can rob you off the blessings of the current moment…..
Have a great read♡♡♡
What happens when we see something glamourous like when a brilliantly coloured butterfly, a rare kind alights?
I guess we’d rush to get our cameras
But before we get back, it’s gone
We wander slowly to admire that one person who seems unloveable
But fail to get a good history of why such a person is that way when we have the time.
Just like we spend the whole of Sunday being grumpy as Monday approaches
Failing to realise that it causes lack of the proper rest God intended for us on the 7th day and so entering the new week with bad vibes.
Peter was awestruck when the face of Jesus and His clothes began to shine
master, what would you think if I built 3 memorials here on the mountain-
One for you,
One for Moses,
One for Elijah?
A great way of recording the event right?
But his interruption brought the conversation to an abrupt end.
God spoke from the clouds, the disciples fell on their faces.
When they opened their eyes, Moses and Elijah were gone.
Imagine if there were cellphones at the Red Sea and the Israelites used their whole time taking selfies instead of crossing…hmmmm
The thing is: we sometimes fail to treasure the present until the moment has passed
We might find more fulfilment and satisfaction in our lives, if instead of living in hope for the future, we focused on the moment
You never know what God would have you do in a moment if you don’t pause and reflect
Now here’s a real story of a moment I failed to appreciate until it had passed. I still feel a little knot in my chest when I think of it.
I was busy doing everything I could to ensure she stayed alive.
She kept on having continuous seizures.
I thought……….. wouldn’t an anticonvulsant be the best
The most senior one there didn’t even realise the seizures. When the senior one was informed, the senior one was slow to act. I guess as naive as we all were.
The pulse oximeter stopped reading.
We thought it had stopped working
Unknowingly, she was slipping away from us to her maker.
One thing I failed to realise was the power of prayer
How much the prayer of the righteous could go right at that moment
I might have done my best…but failed to pray the moment it was required of me.
I was too busy to pause and key into the exact thing I was to do.
After the moment passed by and everywhere was calm, then it clicked in my heart.
Don’t let it pass by you
I guess someone’s to do after reading all of these would be
Remember to live in the moment😉😉
Always say this to yourself:
Cause in the end that would be all that matters.
